Jason helped the children make a Thanksgiving mobile. It was a fun project that the children loved. They each colored pictures of pilgrims giving thanks in prayer, and a picture of a turkey. Each of the children colored a paper plate their favorite color. Then they cut their picture out with scissors and they used a glue stick to glue the pictures to their paper plate and Jason poked a hole in them. Then we tied them with yarn to hang from a stick. We were going to hang the stick with yarn but we opted to hang it in the doorway. We could have just tacked the yarn to the wall and not used the stick, but this way they are a little more secure (cats love to attack anything hanging down). It is fun studying the pilgrims and early settlers as a school project during this time of year, and the art projects are fun stuff for their school day too.

We hope you all have a great Thanksgiving Day! Our turkey is going in the oven now, it will take a while as it is a big one at 23 lbs. we had to hunt for it in the freezer section. Almost gives you the hunting feeling but you don’t pull the trigger. Digging all through the freezer amongst all those 18 pounders. We plan to have the normal side dishes stuffing, potato’s (from our garden) and gravy, yams, and more. We are also going to have our traditional broccoli salad (that I plan to post a recipe later for), and green bean casserole we have every year too. My (Jason’s) parents will be here for dinner;  however Anna’s family will not be able to make it this year like last. We hope they have a great turkey day at their home. We also hope that all of you have a great Thanksgiving, as we all take time to thank our Creator for giving us the blessings in our lives.

We are very thankful for all the blessings he has blessed us with. This year we have a new baby on the way too, that is even more reason we have to be so thankful. YHWH is so good and he is a loving Creator and Father.

We are also at this time removing Simply Graceful from our resource list as we ordered and paid for two jumpers from Simply Graceful and never received the order and they will not answer our request for a refund or even respond in any way despite numerous attempts. We hope none of you had the same result. Now we just have to forgive and move on, but moving on a little wiser, knowing not to order from there again.

Here is another interesting video (this is a long video, click on it with the sound down and come back later after it done loads to watch it). It is about population decline in Germany. This is more of a reality in most developed nations. We as developed nations, have decided to trade God’s blessings (Children) for a lie of wealth, that is treasure stored up where moth and rust will destroy. This is what a planned parenthood mentality will buy us.

Here is a video about Mexico’s low birth rates. I thought it was interesting in light of the doom sayer’s opinion we are over populated on this globe.

We went sledding for a few minutes today. It was not really that cold out today. It was 10 degrees (it was -20 yesterday morning) but the wind was blowing a lot for us here. We went to the sledding hill any how, knowing we might not be there to long. We stopped by the store on the way to get some hot chocolate to make upon our return home. When we got to the sledding hill the wind was blowing even harder off of the hill than it was at home. We did make a few trips down the hill, and decided to go home and warm up. We didn’t get any pictures except this one video clip.
