I finished this round afghan the other day. The pattern I used was called the Skipping Stones Circular Afghan. It was a fun project and seemed to go very quick (until the last couple of rows). It utilized several stitches, so it kept things interesting as I was working on it. I used chunky (thick) yarn. Lots of left over yarn that was given to me. I decided to crochet each color until it ran out and continue with another color giving it a bit of a random or crazy quilt feel. I used a size “L” or 8.0 MM hook. The afghan turned out to be 56 inches in diameter. It is just right to snuggle under for one person. I laid it out to take the picture, and started to fold it up afterward then had to tend to the baby for a minute and within seconds the dogs took it over. I was in hopes of including a link but the web site is no longer working.

Very cool. The puppies are so cute.
Oh, we went to the Third Day concert. I posted a review and pictures. It was one of the best concerts I’ve been too.

What a beautiful afghan. I’ve never seen a round one. That’s a great way to use up a variety of colors. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.
