4000 -VS- 6,501,748

Today it seems everyone has a passionate opinion on the war in Iraq, one way or the other. We read on an other blog that the death toll for the u.s.a. is now up to 4000. We do not watch TV, so we do not see the news. Also we do not listen to the radio or read the paper. We just don’t see much use in it. Why pollute our minds with all that garbage. So we are taking the the number of 4000 at their word. It is sad that the u.s.a. or any one has lost 4000 people. You just hope and pray they knew YHWH through Y’Shua (Jesus).

anti war
This new mile stone has caused Anti-War protesters to come out in force. In return the those who support the War have not been silent either. We do not want to address either side of this, but take up an other issue that is even more pressing.

While the war tallies the death counts. We have a ticker on our blog counting the number of the innocent children that have been slaughtered by Abortion, to the god of Self Worship, since the beginning of the Iraq war. 6,501,748 children have lost their lives. Yet so many are silent. We are not wanting to be little the lives given by the soldiers. It is a sad loss, for this country and for their families, but so is the travesty of abortion. Where is the Media coverage? And pollititions have their mouth duct taped shut until they want the vote from the “radical right”. Where is the balance in all this, is all that we are asking.

34wksMany scream with signs saying NO MORE WAR! But many of these same people are avidly pro-kill-your-baby. It is a wicked generation. Wicked is a word that means to twist, or twisted, as in to twist a candle wick or wicker furniture. A true twisting of the mind is evident. When people can demand that we stop the killing, except when it causes me to be responsible for my actions before YHWH and to the Life Within.

Sleepy

Out for the CountIt always surprises me how children can sleep anywhere. The other night we were reading our book by Beverly Lewis and getting ready for bed when Destiny Divine sacked out with her book on her face.

Dinner was to much work A couple nights before she found that dinner was a little to much work and melted off the bench and drifted off to sleep.

Caribou

Just thought you might like to see some pictures of Caribou that Jason took on his last trip to Fairbanks to get some more building materials for adding on to our house.

Caribou

There were about ten caribou when Jason his Dad and Judah first came upon them. Some ran off before he could snap the picture. But he did get these few, and few more that were to blurry.

Judah thought it was great. Just wish we could have shot one with something other than a camera, but hunting season is over. :(    Some Caribou in the freezer would be nice!

YHWH Finger Paints at Night

Last night we were up late. As I took the dog out before going to bed, I noticed the Northern Lights were out dancing. It was about 20 degrees and we found our selves, out like most Alaskans looking at the lights, in our t-shirt and shorts. The thrill was so grand that we did not notice we were freezing.

AuroraBorealis

The Northern Lights are created by a combination of forces from both the sun and the earth. Electrical particles stream from the sun and enter the earth’s magnetic field creating gases which light up the sky. Different gases create different colors of northern lights. The majority of the northern lights are in fact between 90 and 130 kilometers in distance from the ground – or 10 times as high as the average cruising altitude of a jet plane.

All that technical talk to explain how YHWH finger paints in the sky at night. We have seen many nights where the lights were so grand. Yet last night was one of the most inspiring to date. Maybe because we felt we were enveloped in the lights as they were dancing directly above us and our home.

Cirle of lights 2

Encircling us in a circle of light, as shafts of green and pink found their way to light our feet. I looked much like this picture (above) but more directly above head around us. River of lights flowing and moving around us.

Just when we were feeling caught up in the moment, we looked to the north and a wall made of mostly pink and some green vertical flashing, made a wall across the northern sky. Descending behind the trees while the other lights were still above head.

wall of light

Taking pictures of the Northern Lights can be tricky and can not be done with a simple digital camera. I did not have my camera out or ready. Needless to say the pictures here are not of my taking, but we looked for a couple pictures, that looked as much like what we saw, as we could find. We also saw a moving satellite, and later what was either a meteor or a falling star, or a rocket that they sometimes shoot into the Northern Lights for testing research. After all this we had a hard time going to sleep. Seeing YHWH paint the sky in such a fashion was awe inspiring to say the very least. We talked about posting to the blog, and how could we ever begin to describe the sights we have seen, and the closeness we felt to the heavens. As Alaskans we have all seen the Lights at one time or another, as we will see them again too, maybe even better than last night. But for now it will be a night to remember for some time to come no doubt.

Seeking YHWH

Standing upon the mount of church, Seeking YHWH, in the strong wind of false prophecies, tickling the ears and renting lives into broken pieces, but YHWH was not in the wind of the false prophet. After the false prophesy was an earthquake of Idol worship, but YHWH was not in the gods fashioned by mens hands. After the earthquake of idols, there was a fire of Selfishness. But YHWH could not be found in selfishness. After the Fire of selfishness, was a still small voice. Calling… “come out from among them and be ye separate.”

After seeking God, on mans terms, rendering empty cults and downcast hearts. When the TV’s are silenced, with all the idols lay smashed, and “stars” bow face down. After the pursuit of materialism gives rise to empty lives, and lost children given to the god of mammon. Then there is still a small voice calling “What doest thou here?” And we can only wrap our face in our mantle, and cry out in repentance.

elijah 1

In our culture, we seek but never find. We drink and ever thirst. We look to religion and turn a deaf ear to the small voice of YHWH. Padded pews, and hardened hearts to YHWH’s word. We call out “take my problems YHWH but leave my pigs”. Take my problem of emptiness but leave my pig of television, so I cant spend time in your word to be filled. We want to keep our “pigs of sun-god worship” (Easter and Christmas) and wonder why we feel far from you. When you said not to even let the names of other Gods come out of our mouths. We cast our children into government schools, to indoctrinate them into the ways of the heathen, and we wonder why they stray and think one day a week in sunday school will save their soul. We kill our young before they are born by abortion, or chemical birth control, instead of trusting YHWH and giving him control. Leave my “pig of selfishness” but give me my inheritance. If your heart does not cry out at all this, you may need to do some soul checking. Who is in control? Where are your idols in high places of your life? We need to put El Elyon (the Most High) back in his proper place! Give him full control and rule in our hearts.

elijah 2

Let him run our pigs off a cliff and drowned! Let Y’Shua (Jesus) give the peace we need, that we have searched for in all the wrong places. Lets break our hearts on the “Rock”. Softening our once hardened hearts. Putting Gods word over mans teaching and traditions. Truly the choice is ours to whom we will give our hearts.

Quick check up… to whom have you given your heart to? Where do you spend your free time, where is your first love?

Truly there is a deeper calling to be more than a sunday only Christian, are you willing to answer?

Dress Up!

Dress up clothes

We took this picture of the girls this morning. They were having a great time playing with the dress up clothes, hats and shoes. We have a box with dresses, a Lion costume, lady bug, ducky, cowboy, king, and even a couple hard hats. They love it! since we do not participate in halloween it still gives them the fun of dressing up.

follow up to Easter or Resurrection Day?

We recognize that it is importance to have days set aside to remember our Saviors birth, and his death and Resurrection. We believe that we should abstain from the practices of celebrating Ishtar. As we said about the book of Deuteronomy….

….Deuteronomy 12:30-31
30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
31 Thou shalt not do so unto YHWH thy Elohim
: for every abomination to YHWH, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

If we abstain from the “secular” practices (totally) that will mean we must also change the dates of our 2 biggest holidays as well as the names. At the end we have changed every thing and have our own holiday… Wow a holy, or “set apart” day? Sounds like what YHWH would be pleased with. Y’shua (Jesus) was not born on Dec. 25 the old winter solstice the day that the pagan god’s were born on. He was born on the feast of tabernacles in what we call September. We have Constantine to thank for Dec 25. Nor was he raised on the equinox, the ancient holiday of Easter.

Also we are told in Exodus 23:13

Exodus 23:13
And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

So not only are we not to do or go after the traditions of how they worshiped other gods, doing them to YHWH. We are not to even say the names of those Gods…. which includes “Easter” (The name of Ishtar is Easter, we shouldn’t say it!).

This in no way means we as believers have lost any thing! We know that Jesus was crucified passover eve. and rose 3 days later on the feast of first fruits. He was the first of many to be raised to life. We too are given eternal life through Him.

In summary we are not wanting to hold on to the old for “Traditions” sake, rather we want to THROW it away! For what the Lord (YHWH) has for us. Things far better than the remnants of pagan child sacrifice rituals, and sun-god worship.
