Twas the Blog before Christmas

Twas the Blog before Christmas

Merry Comp

We were blogging the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a child was stirring, only the clicks of our mouse.
Post were all posted with care,
In hopes readers and subscribers would soon be there.

The children were all asleep in there beds,
While visions of veggie tales danced in thier heads.
Mamma in her headcovering, and I in my hat,
Had just sat down to type and chat.

When on the stove top arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the computer to see what was the matter,
But mamma was there in a blink,
Making Cocoa and marshmallows for us to drink.

The monitors glowing light, and our cups of cocoa,
Was giving luster to the marshmallows in the cocoa.
When what to our weary WordPress eyes did appear,
But four tiny children so loved and dear.

Wanting a taste, all wanting a sip,
We knew in a moment we had been licked.
Eagerly they drank, then ate our candy cane.
Then they whimpered and whined, as we called them by name!

Now Judah, now Serenity, now Mercy and Destiny!
Off upstairs, off to bed, off to sleep, do not weep,
To the top of the stairs, into bed do not stall,
Now snooze away, snooze away, snooze away all!

We sprang back to our computer to finish this post,
Now to the children, we were through playing “host”.
We just wanted to say before we went to bed for the night…
“Happy Christmas blogging to all, and to all a good-post!
